FOLLOW ME AND YOU'LL GET LOST

My drawings are pure instinct and the 2 gel pens, one white and one black, are my camera. When I scroll through images on the web or social media or in my digital photo albums and find something that strikes my fancy, I reproduce it and sometimes I even mix several photos into one drawing. When the work is finished, as I look at it, if inspiration strikes, I also write a poem to give voice to my emotions.
Born in Milan (Italy) in 1964, at the age of 22 I began to work with numbers and the strict logic of programming, but in 2003, after the birth of my daughter Federica, the emotions of the event and the joy of raising the best part of myself fuelled my artistic flame. Thus, since 2012, my poems have taken shape and through the eyes of my heart, I convey my feelings to my readers; I am a contemporary poet who likes to call myself 'The instigator of passion'. My poems, in free verse, do not fit into the classical literary currents, they are simply emotions in verse. The poems of Salvatore Quasimodo's hermeticism current are my points of reference and inspiration. The first publication of poetry collections was in 2017 with the book "I miei giorni. "Zirraragarria' published by Aletti editore. On 6 November 2021, I participated in the fourth edition of the Salerno Biennale d'arte Contemporanea presenting the new complete collection of poems 'Ciò che non si vede' published by Crosslink edizioni. The event, with an international character, helped to establish new friendships for future collaborations with the art world of Central and South America. On 20 December 2021, I participated in the third Expolatina de Arte in Cartago, Colombia, visible via web on the digital platform ArtSteps.
In 2022, I returned to my first love, drawing, and some of my drawings were exhibited, for the first time, from 16 to 25 July 2022 at the Antiquarum Museum in Merì for the exhibition 'IKIGAI - Art, The Reason for Living', receiving excellent criticism from the architect Giuseppe Gorga, an internationally renowned painter as well as curator of the Salerno Biennial of Contemporary Art, who fully grasped my artistic soul.
From 24 to 28 September 2022, my work 'Horses' was exhibited at the Hippodrome of San Siro for the exhibition “Art & Horses”.
From 20 October to 15 November 2022, my works “The Labyrinth of Life” and “Memories” were videos exhibited at the 4th Biennial of Armenia in Colombia “Biarco”, earning third place among all the video works exhibited.
From 5 to 26 November 2022, a selection of my drawings were exhibited at the solo exhibition 'L'arte del disegno' at SPAZIO VISUS in Oggiono in the province of Lecco.
From 13 to 17 December 2022, the work “The Zebra” will be video exhibited at the Espacio Art Gallery in London.
From 4 to 28 January 2023, the work “La vie de la terre” will be video exhibited at the Espace Art Gallery in Bruxelles.
